T-Ball

S had her first T-ball game last Wed. night. It went a lot better than I imagined it would go! She did cry and latch on to me when it was time for her to head to the dugout with her dad. But she did make it out on the field.....right beside dad the whole time. Good thing he is helping coach!

When it was time fro her team to bat the first time she made it about a third of the way to the tee and then refused to go any further once again clinging to her daddy! The second (final) time her team was up to bat she did make it to the tee and hit the ball (dad right beside her the whole time!) and then ran all the bases because she was the last one up to bat. It took the entire game but she made it too the tee! I wasn't even sure if she would make it on the field so this is great!!

We were all so proud! Well we leave in about 30 minutes for game #2! I hope she will be more brave and have more fun as the season goes on!
