What a great 3rd birthday! K turned another year older on Saturday and like most parents I am not sure where the time has gone! She is as cute and busy as the day she was born! Looking back it is so clear to me now why I had so many sleepless nights with her and why she was either screaming or giggling! That is who she is and we are so thankful for each day with her! She definitely keeps T and I on our toes and keeps us humble. Because believe it or not we are not the perfect parents or speech language pathologist! Humble, she is the reason we stay humble in so many ways! K had a special birthday breakfast and then it was off to the grand party at the Wiggles Play Center. She and her friends had a great time! They bounced on bounce houses, rode mechanical horses, climbed up play equipment, went down slides, drove little cars and had pizza and cake. She was so excited from the days events that she would not take a nap that afternoon no matter what we said or did....once again showing us we are not perfect! That afternoon a neighbor friend who could not come to the party came down to play. So we had a special birthday dinner with her that night! On the way to run an errand that evening K fell asleep within a few minutes of the car pulling out of the driveway. She was out for the rest of the night! I think she finally gave up...the little party princess! Happy Happy Birthday K!!
