Winter Wonderland

After 9 days of the girls having the stomach virus (K last week and S this week) it was so nice to be able to get outside and enjoy some record breaking snowfall! We got 9 inches here and it fell for around 24 hours straight. The snowflakes were big and fluffy and were just right for making snow angels, snowmen, and having a fun snowball fight (dogs included)! T came home early last night because he promised the girls he would help them make a snowman. I was busy bundling up K when he said "I don't think we'll even be out there 10 min." He was thinking the girls wouldn't want to be out in the cold for long. He didn't know K had already been out in the snow several times that day and most of the time I had to bribe her to come back inside. T and K didn't come in for about 30-40 min! It has been so pretty and so much fun we will all be sad to see it melt away.
