Baby update: Everything is going well! I am still having a sonogram every week and know more about this kid than I knew about any other child! The dr. sees no signs of Fifths disease and has no concerns at this time. He wants me to come back for 2 more weeks and then he will do some more blood work to compare to the first test and go from there. The baby boy (K wants to name him Bum and S wants to name him Astronaut!) weighed 2.68lbs last week.
Current House update: After about 6 weeks on the market we got 2 offers on our house within 2 days one of which we couldn't refuse! Yea!! So on July 10th we will close on this house! The one thing the girls will really miss is a good friend down the street. It will be hard to say goodbye.
New House update: Let me just start by saying this was not an easy process and very stressful for both T an myself for multiple reasons. However it is something that we could see God's hand in the entire time and it was nice to know we could trust in Him and lean not on our own understanding. After looking at lots of houses in lots of cities around us we finally found it! It has just about everything on our list of requests for our home (sorry T it is not on an acreage!) and we are thrilled to have found it! It is absolutely beautiful inside!! On July 10th we will close on this home as well. The good thing is that it is a spec. home so it is brand new (after being on the market for the past 10 months....God knew when to drop the price for us!) so we can move right in as soon as everything is processed.
Listening to God: It is easy to stop and pray to God but it is harder to hear the voice of God. Sometimes it comes in the voice of a child, like when I was really tired of cleaning the house 2x a day and S told me I think our house is going to sell soon and we got a offer a few days later. Sometimes it comes through scripture, like when I opened my bible one morning when I was ready to give up on finding a home to a random page (Isaiah 66) and could feel God speaking to me through the scripture to give me understanding and focus that our real home is not here on earth. Or 2 days later when we were putting an offer in on the house we found and once again felt the need to randomly open my bible (only this time unknowingly it was upside down and backwards) and opened to the exact same page as 2 days earlier. Even though it was the same scripture it was a different message but yet still the voice of God as I heard him give me comfort and restore my faith as he knew the plans for this home before it was ever built and we should have amazing peace in his will not our own. He speaks to us, we just have to be willing to slow down and listen!
S and K are doing great!! They are enjoying the summer and all that it entails. They are very excited about their new house and love the fact that their bedrooms are upstairs! S loves to wear her roller skates around the house all day long! K asked her one morning when she got up ,"S did you sleep in your skates?" It sure seems like it! K is having fun playing with baby dolls and anything else she can find. Here are some picture updates!
K digging for dinosaur bones.
Don't worry this is not a real baby in the pool! Just a swimming baby doll!
Poor Ranger!

The house is really cute. Are you guys staying close to where you live now or moving to another city?
