God, did you hear me?

Yesterday it was sprinkling on and off throughout the day and as we were driving to go eat dinner S asked me, "Mommy is it going to rain at your Birthday Party?" (She thinks that going out to dinner on my birthday is my party) I said "I don't know only God knows when it will and won't rain." To which S replied exasperated " I asked God but I didn't hear Him." Isn't it nice to know that He always hears us even when we don't "hear" Him.
