Bye-bye diapers, It's been fun!

Yes, today is the last day that 'K' will be sporting the diapers. I can't remember back to the days of no diapers...4.5 years ago! 'K' is definitely ready....I am not sure that the rest of us are though. 'K' understands that today is d-day and even asked to wear "panties" to school this morning. However, because this is the last day of school I decided against giving her teachers this as a "thanks for teaching me" gift ....an unpotty trained child wearing panties! ! Anyhow I am thankful that she is ready..for now. I am sure she will have moments of wishing to have the security of diapers again but for better or worse the joys of potty training are here! My prize for the accomplishment is professional carpet cleaning! (I have to have some motivation as well!)
